World-class Wordpress Plugin Logo Design
The #1 security plugin for Wordpress, Wordfence, needed a logo for their new product line that stood out from their others but felt cohesive.
As the global leader in Wordpress security, Defiant was adamant about a high-quality logo for one of their new product offerings. They asked that the logo somewhat fit in with their brand, but also stand on its own. Although they prefer minimalist, they pushed for originality and did not want to restrict creativity.
The new product line, Wordfence Central is to connect all websites using the plugin in one easy-to-use portal. Using the current product logos for reference, I created over 60 variations over the course of 11 revision sessions. I was asked to first keep in line with the current product logos, then given the freedom to design many versions that were completely unique. The entire process took approximately two weeks.
With this new logo, Defiant can promote their new product with confidence to millions in the Wordpress plugin catalog.
